Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 29 (PTI) The Kerala government on Wednesday announced a Rs 400 hike in the monthly welfare pension, raising it to Rs 2,000.
The announcement was made by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan
at a press conference here after the state Cabinet meeting.
Around 62 lakh people who currently receive 1,600 each as social security pension will now get Rs 2,000 per month. PTI TGB TGB ROH
