New Delhi, Mar 20 (PTI) Filmmaker Mani Ratnam's production banner Madras Talkies on Friday announced A R Rahman will be the music composer for the director's upcoming film, featuring Vijay Sethupathi and
Sai Pallavi.
Ratnam and Rahman have a long history of collaborations. The duo have worked together on projects such as "Roja", "Kaatru Veliyidai", "Chekka Chivantha Vaanam", "OK Kanmani", "Raavanan", "Ponniyin Selvan" (1 and 2), and "Thug Life", among others.
The banner shared the news with a post on its official Instagram handle, which featured the poster with the details written over it.

More details about the project are kept under wraps by the makers.
The untitled film will mark the first collaboration for Sethupathi and Pallavi. It also reunites the filmmaker with Sethupathi after their 2018 Tamil film "Chekka Chivantha Vaanam", where the actor essayed the role of a cop.
For Pallavi, it will mark the first collaboration with the filmmaker.
The film is produced by Lyca Productions alongside Madras Talkies. PTI ATR
