Actress Daisy Shah on Tuesday took to Instagram to share a shocking video in which she claimed that the flat next to her house in Bandra, Mumbai, caught fire because, during campaigning for the BMC elections
2026, a political party was bursting crackers.
Daisy captioned the video as, "I Have got nothing to do with any political party!!! But when u hire teams to run campaigns for your elections please make sure they have some common sense in them. Thank fully our building committee refused their entry to go door to door.. Bursting crackers next to the buildings is not the way to go about it. This is what happens when people lack civic sense. It ain’t a natural calamity it’s cause by brainless people. (sic)." Watch the video below...
In the comments, he further wrote, "I sincerely hope that people understand the serious danger of bursting crackers roadside. This is a live example of doing so..seeing this happen right in front of my eyes was scary (sic)."
In the video, Daisy looks panicked, and she is very concerned about the people who are staying in the building. The actress is seen asking the security guards multiple times if the fire brigade has been called. She also tells them to open an area so people from the next building can sit there.
The Jai Ho actress claimed that the campaigning was done by the members of the BJP party. In the video, she says that there were around 200 people who ran away after the fire incident happened.
Shah reveals that as soon as the flat next to her house caught fire, she, along with her two dogs, came down.
Daisy Shah Shares Details Of Fire Incident
The actress also shared another video, in which she gave proper details about the incident. From her house, she showed the flat that had caught the fire. The actress revealed that the flat belongs to a retired colonel, who was not in the house at that time.
She also clarified that she took a political party's name, so people can take accountability of the incident. Shah says that many andhbhakts will target here, but it won't affect her. The actress says that she has nothing to do with politics. She captioned the video as, "What is WRONG is WRONG (sic)."
