Ajay Devgn and Mrunal Thakur starrer Son Of Sardaar 2 received mixed reviews from the critics and the audience. The film has also failed to do well at the box office over the weekend. On Sunday, Mrunal posted
on X (Twitter), "What are your Sunday plans? #SonOfSardaar2 #MrunalThakur." A netizen replied to her and wrote, "The way the reviews are on Instagram and YouTube, I don’t even feel like watching it anymore."

Son Of Sardaar 2 took a low start at the box office and collected Rs. 7.25 crore on its first day. The movie failed to show a huge jump over the weekend, and on Saturday and Sunday, it collected Rs. 8.25 crore and Rs. 9.25 crore, taking the three-day total to Rs. 24.75 crore.
The weekend collection is surely quite disappointing. Not even for one day, the film collected a double-digit number. Son Of Sardaar 2 needs to collect a good amount at the box office on weekdays, so at least by the end of its first week, it has collected a decent number.
