Vivek Kumar Gupta, General Manager, Central Railway & Patron of the Central Railway Cultural Academy (CRCA) distributed awards to winners of the Inter -Divisional Cultural Competition-2025 on 19.12.2025
at the Central Railway auditorium, CSMT
Organised by the Central Railway Cultural Academy (CRCA) from 17.12.2025 to 19.12.2025, the 3-day cultural extravaganza witnessed enthusiastic participation and showcased the rich artistic talent of Central Railway employees and their wards. The awards were presented on the concluding day i.e 19.12.2025.
The Mumbai Division Cultural Team with 49 points & 9 awards in various categories was awarded the “Sartaj” award for Best Overall Performing Unit closely followed by the Headquarters Cultural Team also with 9 awards.
Parel Workshop & Matunga Workshop Cultural Teams won 3 awards each.
Mumbai Division artistes showed their talents winning the 1st prize for Classical Solo dance as well as for Group Dance.
In addition various artistes of Mumbai division won prizes for music, dance, drama and for their contribution back stage.
The Headquarters team won the 1st prize for the Best drama “ Visarjan” followed by Mumbai Division winning both 2nd prizes – for Marathi drama “ Nana Navyaanav Baad” & Hindi drama “Aadhe Adure”
The Headquarters team artistes also dominated the Music arena with winning 1st prizes for Classical Music Vocal, Classical Music Instrumental and Light Music Instrumental. Parel Workshop artiste won the 1st prize for Light Music Vocal.
The winners of the IDCC-2025 will represent Central Railway at the Inter-Railway Cultural Competitions to be held at different venues.
Central Railway will host the Inter-Railway Cultural Competition-Drama-2025
Inter - Divisional Cultural Competition-2025 was inaugurated by Prateek Goswami, Additional General Manager, Central Railway on 17.12.2025. The inaugural function was graced by the presence of Arvind Malkhede, President, CRCA & Principal Chief Commercial Manager, and Anurag Meshram, Vice President, CRCA & Chief Personnel Officer(IR)
The first day featured One Act Play Competitions, in which a total of 11 plays were performed by teams from various divisions and workshops.
The second day featured vibrant Music Competitions, where participants displayed their musical excellence across different categories.
On the third and final day, Classical Solo Dance and Folk Dance Group performances were presented, adding colour and cultural diversity to the event.
Approximately 250 participants from different divisions and workshops of Central Railway took part in the competition, making the event a grand success. The event reflected the commitment of CRCA towards promoting cultural activities and nurturing artistic talent among railway employees.
Principal Head of Departments, Hiresh Mina, Divisional Railway Manager, Mumbai Division, Officers and Staff of Headquarters & Division, Team Managers of other divisions along with their respective team members and artistes attended various events.
