IIM Ranchi has once again reinforced its standing as one of India’s leading management institutes by securing the 18th rank in the NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) Management Category 2025.

IIM Ranchi’s high ranking reflects its robust research output, with over 400 research papers published in reputed journals over the past three years, nearly 40% of which appeared in FT50, A or A category journals (ABDC ranking and UTD Ranking). IIM Ranchi is one of the very few Indian businesses school to have papers in UTD Ranking. The institute’s research ecosystem is further strengthened through consultancy projects with leading industries and government bodies, executive education programs (MDPs, LDPs) designed to enhance managerial capabilities, and industry collaborations that deliver tangible real-world impact.
