Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Cold and foggy weather continues to grip northern Madhya Pradesh, with several districts experiencing reduced visibility and low temperatures.
According to the Meteorological Department,
moderate fog was observed on Wednesday morning in Gwalior, Bhind, Morena, Sheopur, Datia, Niwari, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Panna, and Satna. Visibility ranged from 2 to 4 km in more than 15 districts, including Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Jabalpur, Sehore, Shajapur, and Dewas.
Therefore, the weather will be favourable for kite flying enthusiasts on Makar Sankranti. Senior meteorologist Dr. Divya E. Surendran said that the weather will be dry on Wednesday. Similar weather conditions are expected for the next four days.
No Cold Wave or Cold Day Alert
According to the Meteorological Department, there is no cold wave alert anywhere in the state on Wednesday. Nor will there be a cold day. This means people will be able to celebrate Makar Sankranti without any problems. Kite flying is a popular activity during Makar Sankranti in the Indore and Ujjain divisions, i.e., the Malwa-Nimar region. The clear weather will ensure that there are no difficulties for kite flyers.
