A two-day 'Book Exhibition' was organized (January 12-13, 2026) by the library department of Sinhgad College of Commerce, Chandivali, run by Yashwantrao Chavan Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, as part of the 'Maharashtra
Reading Pledge' initiative. The exhibition was inaugurated by the college principal, Dr. Ritika Hemdev. The book exhibition was organized by the college librarian, Mr. Nandkumar Banate. Present on the occasion were Prof. Samita Gharat, Prof. Shivani Ahluwalia, Prof. Aparna Matekar, Prof. Sylvester Jacob, and Prof. Suhas Kamble. The college students and non-teaching staff also benefited from this exhibition. Students and teachers from other colleges in the Sinhgad campus also participated enthusiastically in the book exhibition. The event was organized and planned by the college librarian, Mr. Nandkumar Banate.
