Authority at the Delhi airport has issued a travel advisory asking passengers to contact their respective airlines for the latest update on flight information.
"Flight operations are currently being conducted under CAT III conditions due to dense fog, which may cause delays. Passengers are requested to contact their respective airlines for the latest flight information or visit our official website. Please be assured that our on-ground officials are available across all terminals to provide necessary support," the advisory read.
Domestic carrier IndiGo has also issued an advisory on the likely delay in the flight schedule.
"Low visibility and fog over Delhi may impact flight schedules. We are closely monitoring the weather and doing our best to get you where you need to be, safely and smoothly. We request that you stay updated on your flight status via our website or app. Please be assured that our teams are here to assist you at every step and provide full support. We look forward to clearer skies and a swift return to our regular schedule. Thank you for your patience and understanding," the airline said.
