Total five people were onboard Pawar's private jet including three passengers, one pilot and one crew, CNBC-TV18 learnt.
Aircraft crash landed at Baramati during landing near threshold at Runway 11, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said in a statement.
The crash took place at 8:48 am, as per DGCA.
As per the DGCA, it was a VTSSK Learjet 45 aircraft.

Rescue operation team has reached the crash site and the rescue efforts are underway.
Pawar's flight reportedly took off at 8:10 am. He had programmes scheduled from 10 am to 5 pm in Baramati today.
As per Lokmat, NCP leaders Supriya Sule and Sunetra Pawar have left for Baramati from Delhi after the news.
