The SIT probe revealed that the purity of the laddu was compromised on a large scale, News18 reported.
The investigation pointed to systemic irregularities and deliberate adulteration. The SIT is expected to file the chargesheet in the laddu adulteration case soon.
On October 4, 2025, the Supreme Court ordered a probe by an independent SIT over allegations of contaminated laddu prasadam Tirupati temple.
The row over laddu began last year after Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu claimed that animal fat was used for making Tirupati laddus during the previous Jagan Mohan Reddy government.
