A bomb threat email was sent to nearly 50 schools in Delhi on Wednesday, August 20.
Delhi Police has started the search operation in the matter, news agency PTI reported, citing police officials.
The
schools include Rahul Model School and Maxfort School in Dwarka and SKV in Malviya Nagar and Andhra School in Prasad Nagar, as per PTI.
Information regarding the bomb threat emails at Sarvodaya kanya Vidyalaya, Malviya Nagar and Andhra School in Prasad Nagar was received at 7:40 and 7:42 am, respectively, as per Delhi Fire Services.
The police officials rushed to the schools with bomb disposal squads at the educational institutions' premises.
There has been a series of bomb threats received by the schools in
the national capital recently.
On August 18, about 32 schools received bomb threats which turned out be hoax.
