Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has enrolled for an executive leadership programme at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, becoming the first serving Chief Minister in independent India to undertake a programme at an Ivy League institution.
According to details released on Saturday, the Chief Minister will attend the programme titled “Leadership for the 21st Century: Chaos, Conflict, and Courage” at the Kennedy School campus in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The classes are scheduled to be held from January 25 to January 30.

During the programme, CM Revanth Reddy will participate in classroom sessions alongside participants from more than 20 countries spanning five continents. The course structure includes classes, assignments, submission of homework and group projects with fellow participants from across the world.
The programme will be chaired by Professor Tim O’Brien, with Professor Karen Morrissey serving as the Programme Director. As part of the curriculum, participants will analyse case studies drawn from different regions, historical periods and global contexts. These case studies will be discussed and resolved through group work, with solutions presented in the classroom.
On successful completion, the Chief Minister will receive a course certification from Harvard University, marking the first such certification for any current Chief Minister in office in Indian history.
