Officials told PTI said the water is expected to recede further through the day, offering some relief to flood-affected areas.
The Nigam Bodh Ghat area is still facing acute waterlogging following a rise in the water level of River Yamuna. Machines have been installed to pump out the water that has entered the area.

In recent days, the swollen river has wreaked havoc in low-lying parts of the city—submerging homes, displacing residents, and disrupting local businesses.

The Old Railway Bridge serves as Delhi's primary flood-forecasting station, and authorities continue to monitor the situation closely.

Relief camps were set up in Mayur Vihar area after floods inundated low-lying areas. But in a double whammy, flood waters reached these relief camps too.
District officials have issued a public advisory, urging people to stay away from the river and avoid activities such as swimming, boating, or other recreational pursuits due to safety concerns.
