Airspace restrictions will be imposed at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) on January 26 and 29 in connection with Republic Day-related events.
An official said that on January 26, non-scheduled flights will not be permitted to take off or land between 8:30 am and 1 pm, and again from 3 pm to 6 pm.
Similarly, on January 29, when the Beating the Retreat ceremony is held, airspace curbs will remain in effect from 3 pm to 7 pm.
IGIA, the country’s largest airport, handles approximately 1,300 flight movements every day.
