The restoration of services came as a major relief to daily commuters, particularly office-goers heading to Nariman Point, Backbay, and Colaba, who had been forced to walk to work amid disruptions. Over the past few days, protestors had clogged the major junction outside CSMT, bringing traffic and public transport to a standstill.

"Bus services from the CSMT depot have resumed. Routes 138 and 115 are now operational," a BEST official told PTI.
