On Friday, the Prime Minister will arrive at Babatpur's Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport. From there, he plans to go straight to the BLW Guest House.
He will also hold a meeting with senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders and prominent personalities from the region on Friday.
According to the Prime Minister's office, Modi will flag off four new Vande Bharat Express trains at around 8:15 am on Saturday, November 8. The additional trains will operate on the Banaras-Khajuraho, Lucknow-Saharanpur, Firozpur-Delhi, and Ernakulam-Bengaluru routes.
The Banaras–Khajuraho service will connect significant religious and cultural sites, cutting travel time by nearly three hours and benefiting tourism in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. The Lucknow–Saharanpur train, covering central and western Uttar Pradesh, will save passengers about an hour and improve access to the holy city of Haridwar.
In northern India, the Firozpur–Delhi route will provide a faster link between the capital and key cities in Punjab, fostering economic growth in border areas, while in south India, the Ernakulam–Bengaluru express will connect major IT and commercial hubs across Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka, reducing travel time by over two hours.
At around 5 pm on November 8, he will inaugurate the National Conference on “Strengthening Legal Aid Delivery Mechanisms” at the Supreme Court of India.
During the event, the Prime Minister will launch the Community Mediation Training Module prepared by the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA). NALSA's two-day conference will focus on major areas of the legal services framework, including the Legal Aid Defence Counsel System, panel attorneys, para-legal volunteers, permanent Lok Adalats, and financial management of legal services institutions.
Earlier in the day, PM Modi inaugurated the year-long commemoration of the National Song ‘Vande Mataram’ at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi.
