However, as the rounds progressed, the judges found themselves increasingly invested in the students' efforts, evident through their preparation, nerves, and the palpable mix of anticipation and hope. By the end, the judges were consciously working to maintain objectivity despite feeling emotionally connected to the students' journey. The observation that NM Poddar consistently produces academically sound and emotionally aware students, with a high Emotional Quotient (EQ), is attributed to the faculty's dedication, led by Avnita Bir.

Passages, an organization led by Tarana Khubchandani, has a longstanding commitment to breast cancer awareness, a cause deeply personal to Khubchandani as a survivor. The recent exhibition, curated by Nayantara Thacker at the Imperial Club, presented a novel approach by featuring carpets that depicted paintings by master artists. This showcased art in an unconventional form, 'underfoot,' creating a visually dramatic presentation during a cocktail event. The collection of textiles, rich with patterns and narratives woven into extravagant and collectible pieces, generated significant desire among attendees, including the author, who admitted to struggling with restraint due to limited space. The event highlighted the emotional and aesthetic appeal of art, emphasizing its power to connect with deeply felt causes.
Neurodiverse Art Exhibition
The Altruistic Gallery at Free Press House hosted an exhibition by neurodiverse children, presented by Purva Khandelwal's NGO and supported by patrons Abhiskek and Shreepriya Karnani.
