While Thailand's Phanaeng Curry and Khao Soi claimed the top two positions, India's culinary prowess was undeniable, with Murgh Makhani, widely known as Butter Chicken, securing an impressive third place. This recognition underscores the universal appeal and sophisticated palate of Indian cuisine on the international stage. As of February 22, 2026, the extensive "100 Curry Varieties Ranked From the Best To the Worst" list had amassed over 743,000 individual ratings, with the system deeming more than 478,000 of them as authentic, ensuring a credible and widely representative assessment of curry excellence across the globe.
