Seattle has a lot of amazing burgers, and even more people who have opinions about what is the “best” burger. Burger love is truly a subjective thing, but this roadmap helps sort through some of the best options in the city
The list includes basic burgers
done brilliantly, but also offers exceptions for variations that are, well, exceptional. Some of these restaurants are easily recognizable as hamburger havens, while others come from places ranging from an ice cream shop to a dive bar to a Guamanian restaurant. No matter what, these stops all have one thing in common: a damn tasty burger.
For the latest update, in June 2026, we added Burgers by Ming, De La Soil, and Ken’s Market.
A $ means entrees are mostly under $10, a $$ means entrees are mostly under $20, $$$ means under $30, and $$$$ means entrees are more expensive than that, or it is primarily a tasting menu restaurant.
