Lincoln Park presents a study in contrasts — if you wander around North Armitage or North Clybourn avenues, you’ll appreciate the juxtapositions. Some of Chicago’s most acclaimed and award-winning restaurants (with the most coveted reservations) are just
around the corner from affordable, reliable haunts enjoyed by DePaul students. Besides the university and the zoo, Lincoln Park is a neighborhood with lush parks, glitzy retail, multi-million-dollar modern architectural wonders, and globally respected restaurants. Some of Chicago’s most renowned chefs are bringing food-obsessed fans to Lincoln Park every night, so make your reservations early and plan for a culinary experience outside of downtown.
Parking can be challenging at many of these locations, so you might want to consider taking public transportation and exploring the neighborhood en route to your dinner res. Be on the lookout for minimal signage and fancy cars at the valet if you’re looking for some of the area’s most renowned restaurants. Our latest update adds Ox Bar and Hearth, Lolo y Lola, Muhājir, and Dimmi Dimmi Corner Italian.
