A ticker-tape parade starting on Broadway in Lower Manhattan on Thursday, June 18, at 10 a.m., will celebrate the New York Knicks’ first NBA championship win in over 50 years, ending at City Hall with Mayor Zohran Mamdani handing players the keys to the city.
Chances are, the packed streets will need a place to eat.
For those who’re dining in the Financial District on the regular, you are likely visiting Wall Street on a field trip, working in the area, going to a doctor’s appointment, or living in one of the many new luxury towers sprouting up. The area still has a long way to go before it’s a paradise for good food, but in the past couple of years, neighborhood restaurants and bars have been coming along, and there are more options than ever.
