Located about 70 miles outside of Boston, Cape Cod is a sought-after destination for both tourists and hundreds of thousands of year-round residents. The blend of residents and the annual influx of visitors has given way to a rich, ever-evolving food
scene, from classic New England clam shacks to upscale seafood restaurants to Japanese, Filipino, and Mexican hotspots.
Sourcing locally from both land and sea and supporting the community through investing in the Cape’s food system has become a trend amongst the region’s restaurants. In recognizing Cape Cod as a large geographic area with distinct communities, we’ve put together a representative list of essential restaurants from Woods Hole to Orleans and beyond.
Note: Provincetown, located at the northern tip of Cape Cod, is a renowned destination in its own right. For that reason, Eater has a separate map covering its restaurants.
