While
the world is always looking for quick fixes, a Pakistani woman has stunned the internet with her 50-kilogram weight loss transformation. Hadiyya Azer, a hair spa owner from Lahore, in a “completely honest” post about her journey, openly speaks about how it took her years to achieve the present fit body. According to Hadiyya, a mom of two, her story is not presented as a flawless glow-up but as a deeply human journey shaped by motherhood, health setbacks, surgery, and relentless consistency.
How did Hadiyya start the weight loss journey?
Hadiyya openly acknowledges that massive weight loss doesn’t come without challenges. One of the most talked-about realities she addresses in her Instagram post is skin sagging - an issue often glossed over in viral transformation stories. After losing significant weight, she underwent a tummy tuck in 2019, a decision she describes not as vanity, but as something necessary at that stage of her physical and emotional recovery. “A massive weight loss journey of over 50 kgs doesn’t come without its own challenges — and yes, sagginess is real,” she wrote.
However, her life took another turn when she welcomed her second child in 2022. Along with the joy of motherhood came nearly 30 kilograms of weight gain, along with another eight kilos added after a surgery. “Had my second baby in 2022, gained almost 30 kgs, worked hard and lost it again. In 2025, I underwent a spine surgery, gained around 8 kgs, and once again, stayed consistent and lost it,” she wrote.

How did Hadiyya lose weight?
So, instead of giving up, she returned to disciplined routines, slowly shedding the weight again, without pretending it was easy. Just when she found her rhythm, another setback arrived. In 2025, she had to undergo spine surgery, gained around eight kilograms during recovery, and once more had to start over. According to Hadiyya, every phase of her journey has reinforced the same message - transformation is rarely linear. In a culture that often stigmatises cosmetic procedures or simplifies weight loss, Hadiyya vouched for a balanced perspective. She shared that she consulted doctors to manage skin quality and enhance her features while maintaining a natural look: “What matters most to me is honesty. Not every transformation is 'under the knife', but some procedures, when done responsibly and at the right time, are self-care — not shortcuts.” What sets her story apart is her refusal to frame medical or cosmetic procedures as shortcuts. She speaks candidly about the role of surgery, emphasizing that while not every transformation requires it, responsible procedures done at the right time can be an act of self-care, not cheating. This perspective has struck a chord in a culture where women are often judged harshly, no matter what choices they make. Her story has gone viral not because of dramatic visuals alone, but because it challenges unrealistic expectations around weight loss. She reminds viewers that real transformations don’t happen in 30 days or with a single diet plan. They are built over years—through patience, discipline, motherhood, health struggles, healing, and the repeated decision to choose yourself, even when starting over feels exhausting.
