President Donald Trump “remains in excellent overall health”, his physician, Captain Sean Barbabella, has announced after the President underwent a preventative MRI, as concerns over his health continue to grow. “There is no evidence of arterial narrowing impairing blood flow or abnormalities in the heart or major vessels. The heart chambers are normal in size, the vessel walls appear smooth and healthy, and there are no signs of inflammation or clotting. Overall, his cardiovascular system shows excellent health,” Barbabella said. “All major organs appear very healthy and well-perfused. Everything evaluated is functioning within normal limits with no acute or chronic concerns.” Barbabella also explained that the MRI was taken in October “because
men of his age group benefit from thorough evaluation of cardiovascular and abdominal health”. Earlier, Trump had informed reporters that the MRI results were “perfect,” even as the White House did not provide much of details as to why the 79-year-old had an MRI during his physical or on which part of his body. “The heart chambers are normal in size. The vessel walls appear smooth and healthy. There are no signs of inflammation or clotting,” White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt had said earlier, calling Trump's cardiovascular system “excellent.” His abdominal scans, she added, were also “perfectly normal.” Reading from the summary of his executive physical, Leavitt stated that the imaging was intended to identify issues early, confirm overall health, and ensure the president maintains long-term vitality and function.
