the 70s, when most people are riddled with diseases and conditions that only make you take rounds at the doctor’s clinic, a 73-year-old cannot stop showing off his ripped body. While it is commonly assumed that being muscular is not the elderly’s cup of tea, meet the senior citizen who can give youngsters a run for their money with his discipline and dedication to fitness. In a conversation with fitness coach Mark Langowski on Instagram, the man revealed how he maintains strength and a sculpted body even today.
How does the 73-year-old stay fit?
While doing pull-ups in the gym, the senior, speaking with Langowski, said he does 100 of them daily – his standard – to maintain his momentum, and a routine. “A lot of people accuse me of being on Testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), but no, I just stick to my routine,” the man said. “Every other day, I do 100 push-ups in between 100 pull-ups. That’s my standard,” he added. On being asked what he eats and drinks, the surprising answer came, “Very few carbs,” he said. “I mean, that’s the key. That’s what helped me get this physique.” The man also said he drinks a glass or two of red wine daily. "Unless I’m fasting, which I do at least once a month.” When asked about his body fat percentage, he revealed, “I just had it tested. I think I was 8.5 per cent.”Also read:
