The National Music Publishers’ Association (NMPA) has announced the promotion of Danielle Aguirre to Chief Legal Officer and Chief Operating Officer, and Charlotte Sellmyer to Executive Vice President
of External Affairs. Aguirre, who has been with the NMPA for fifteen years, has played a significant role in shaping U.S. music publishing, including her involvement in the Music Modernization Act and the Mechanical Licensing Collective. Sellmyer, with eleven years at the NMPA, has been instrumental in elevating the visibility of songwriters' issues and organizing key events.
