Atomic Eagle, a uranium exploration and development company, has entered into a binding option agreement to acquire the Sitwe Uranium Project located in the Luangwa Valley of northeastern Zambia. This acquisition will expand Atomic Eagle's uranium footprint
by an additional 429 square kilometers, increasing the company's overall holdings by 38%. The company is required to spend a minimum of US$200,000 on exploration and license-related expenses by June 30, 2027, to maintain the option. The option to acquire the Sitwe Project can be exercised for a cash consideration of US$400,000. Atomic Eagle plans to initiate a work program that includes mapping and ground radiometrics to identify potential drilling sites. Concurrently, the company is conducting a 30,000-meter drilling campaign at its flagship Muntanga Uranium Project to enhance its resource estimate.
