The Construction Consultancy (TCC), a Birmingham-based firm, is spearheading a significant heritage project to transform the Grade II-listed Derwent Works building in Constitution Hill. Originally built in the late 19th century by Taylor & Challen, the factory was renowned for producing pressings from coins to industrial machinery. The building, which had fallen into disrepair after the company vacated in the 1970s, is being revitalized into 32 luxury apartments and four ground floor retail units. The project, managed by TCC on behalf of developers ETME Group, includes rooftop extensions and a new energy-efficient roofing system.
