Omni Hotels & Resorts, in collaboration with Broward County, Visit Lauderdale, and developer Matthews Southwest, has officially opened the Omni Fort Lauderdale Hotel. This new establishment marks the brand's flagship presence in Greater Fort Lauderdale, setting a new standard for luxury and hospitality in South Florida. The hotel, located on the scenic Intracoastal Waterway, features 801 guest rooms, including 82 suites, and offers a variety of amenities such as seven dining venues, a full-service spa, and over 120,000 square feet of meeting and event space. The opening is a significant milestone in the Broward County Convention Center District expansion, aiming to attract large-scale international events and boost tourism in the region.
