VirtualAge has announced a new virtual reality game titled Guardians Planetfall, which is set to be released in early access next year for Quest 3 and PC VR. This game is a follow-up to the 2023 release,
Guardians Frontline, and was revealed during the UploadVR Winter Showcase. Guardians Planetfall is set in a galaxy-wide war and supports up to four players per squad. Players will engage in battles against alien threats, soldiers, and war machines across various planets and battlefields. The game features team-based PvE and extraction missions, where players face off against two factions: the Void Empire and an evolved Bugs race. Players can customize their strike ships, suits, and weapons, and choose mission locations ranging from deserts to frozen outposts. The game also includes features like antigravity gloves, jetpacks, and an in-game map editor for creating and sharing missions.
