What's Happening?
Aethos Hotels has unveiled a new brand campaign titled 'The Rules Are Different Here,' which aims to redefine luxury hospitality through a playful and unconventional approach. The campaign is highlighted by a pop-up event in Milan, running from May 6
to May 10, located at Corso Garibaldi 83. This pop-up serves as a physical entry point into the Aethos world, designed in collaboration with Burro Studio. It invites guests to engage with the brand through interactive experiences and offers opportunities to win stays and prizes. The campaign, shot by photographer Cameron Hammond at Aethos Mallorca, features models Stella Maxwell, Bruna Lirio, and Aleksa Gavrilovic, capturing cinematic moments that reflect the Aethos lifestyle. The initiative also includes a limited-edition coffee table book and a series of events at Aethos Milan, such as wellbeing sessions, mixology classes, and cinema nights, all under the campaign's theme.
Why It's Important?
This campaign represents a significant shift in the luxury hospitality industry, as Aethos Hotels seeks to differentiate itself by offering a more relaxed and immersive guest experience. By challenging traditional hospitality norms, Aethos aims to attract a new generation of travelers who value unique and personalized experiences over conventional luxury. The pop-up in Milan not only serves as a marketing tool but also as a platform for Aethos to showcase its brand ethos and engage directly with potential customers. This approach could influence other luxury hospitality brands to rethink their strategies and adapt to changing consumer preferences, potentially leading to broader industry changes.
What's Next?
Following the Milan pop-up, Aethos plans to continue its campaign across its properties, integrating the 'The Rules Are Different Here' theme into various guest experiences. This includes unexpected in-room moments and immersive dinners designed around an Aethos-created card game. The campaign's success in Milan could lead to similar activations in other locations, further solidifying Aethos's position as a leader in experience-led hospitality. Additionally, the limited-edition coffee table book and capsule T-shirt collection will be available at Aethos destinations, providing guests with tangible connections to the brand's narrative.
