Channel 4, in collaboration with Universal Content Productions and Element Pictures, has announced the cast for its upcoming drama adaptation of Caroline O’Donoghue’s novel, 'The Rachel Incident'. The series will star Máiréad Tyers as the titular character, Rachel, alongside Ellis Howard, Sarah Greene, and Daniel Ings. Set in Cork in 2010, the story follows a student, Rachel, who works at a bookstore and forms a life-changing friendship with her roommate, James. The series is being produced with support from Fís Éireann / Screen Ireland and will be distributed by NBCUniversal Global TV Distribution.
