resumes generated by the same large language model (LLM) that the company uses. This bias could potentially disadvantage equally qualified candidates who do not use AI to write their resumes. The study involved 2,245 human-written resumes and their AI-generated counterparts, showing that AI evaluators were 23% to 60% more likely to select candidates using the same LLM. The issue is particularly severe in fields like accounting, sales, and finance.
