Geneva High School has taken the top spot in the Aurora-Elgin area high school boys basketball rankings, moving up from second place. The team achieved this position following a victory over Wheaton Warrenville South, aided by Nathan Palmer's five 3-pointers. Aurora Christian also climbed the rankings, now in fourth place, with Jacob Baumann surpassing the 1,000-point mark in a win against Chicago Christian. The rankings reflect the performance of teams through Sunday, with Geneva leading at 7-0, followed by Oswego East, Kaneland, and Aurora Christian. The rankings also highlight individual performances, such as Jayden Riley of Yorkville Christian, who was named Player of the Week.
