Reservoir Farms has inaugurated a new agtech incubator in Salinas, California, aimed at fostering innovation in agricultural technology. The facility offers office space, workshops, and 24 acres of commercial test fields to support startups in scaling
solutions for global food production challenges. The incubator, backed by regional agriculture industry leaders, hosts a cohort of 12 startups working on technologies such as autonomous weeding, precision irrigation, and autonomous pest control. This initiative represents a 'living lab' model, allowing startups to test and validate their solutions in real-world commercial operations, thereby accelerating the path to market for innovative agtech products.
