The Iowa Pork Producers Association has appointed Jesi Strohbehn as its new Producer Education Director. Strohbehn, who began her role in April, is tasked with engaging pork producers, supporting industry initiatives, and strengthening connections within
Iowa's swine community. Her responsibilities include developing educational materials for pig farmers, administering pork quality improvement programs, and collaborating with key stakeholders such as Iowa Farm Animal Care and the Iowa Pork Industry Center. Strohbehn's previous experience includes serving as an Agriculture Compliance Investigator for the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship’s organic program, where she conducted organic inspections for various agricultural operations. She also worked with Zoetis as an Area Application Specialist, providing expertise in swine health and production practices.
