Rakuten Medical is advancing its global Phase 3 clinical trial for ASP-1929, a photoimmunotherapy treatment for recurrent head and neck cancer, with plans to submit a Biologics License Application to the U.S. FDA in 2028. The company is also working to secure approvals in additional markets and expand its clinical scope beyond head and neck cancer.
