The 15th annual Archer Film Festival is set to feature a panel discussion titled 'Women Behind the Camera: Shifting Power in Film,' with prominent figures such as Lynette Howell Taylor, Sara Murphy, and Nastasya Popov. The event, taking place at the Pacific
Design Center’s Silver Screen Theater in West Hollywood, aims to explore how power dynamics are changing within the entertainment industry. The festival, which is entirely student-led, focuses on empowering female filmmakers and amplifying underrepresented voices. It received over 300 student-produced film submissions from more than 50 countries. The panel will discuss how these industry leaders are reshaping storytelling and the systems that support it.
