Illinois and Duke have agreed to a home-and-home men's basketball series set to begin next season. The Illini will travel to Durham, North Carolina, to face the Blue Devils at Cameron Indoor Stadium on November 17. In return, Duke will visit the State
Farm Center in Champaign, Illinois, on December 4, 2027. This marks Duke's first visit to Illinois. The two programs last met in February 2025 at Madison Square Garden, where Duke secured a decisive 110-67 victory. Historically, Duke leads the all-time series 6-3, although Illinois has won the last two encounters at Cameron Indoor Stadium, including an 83-68 victory in December 2020. Both teams are coming off successful seasons, with Duke reaching the Elite Eight and Illinois advancing to the Final Four.
