What's Happening?
A new transformer-based super-resolution model has been developed to improve the resolution of degraded images in underground coal mining. The model, known as BDL, integrates local convolution and adaptive interaction mechanisms to enhance image clarity
and detail. This advancement supports safer and more efficient autonomous mining operations by improving machine vision accuracy. The BDL network significantly outperforms existing super-resolution methods, offering better image reconstruction in challenging conditions such as poor lighting and dust interference.
