Arne Olsen, a screenwriter renowned for his work on 'Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie,' has died at the age of 64 due to cancer complications. Olsen, originally from Vancouver, moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in screenwriting, graduating
from the American Film Institute. His career included co-writing the 1998 action film 'Red Scorpion' and the 1993 comedy 'Cop and a Half.' Olsen also wrote and directed the Canadian film 'Here's To Life!' which received multiple Genie Award nominations. His last screenwriting credit was for the 2018 film 'Distorted.' Olsen also contributed to the film industry as a screenwriting teacher at Capilano University and Vancouver Film School.
