What's Happening?
Kongsberg Maritime has secured a contract to supply a comprehensive deck machinery package for a new 127-meter Floating Wind Construction Vessel (FWCV) being built for Hana Shipping of Korea. This vessel, designed by Focal, is set to be one of the most advanced of its kind, specifically for floating offshore wind operations. Scheduled for delivery in July 2027, it marks the first significant FWCV order globally in recent years. The vessel will be deployed at the Ulsan Floating Wind Farm Construction, located 70 kilometers off the coast of Ulsan, Korea.
