Jason Witten, a former Dallas Cowboys tight end, has been appointed as the tight ends coach for the University of Oklahoma. This marks Witten's first collegiate coaching position, replacing Joe Jon Finley
on Brent Venables' staff. Witten, who played for the Cowboys from 2003 to 2017 and again in 2019, as well as for the Las Vegas Raiders in 2020, is an 11-time Pro Bowl selection and a two-time All-Pro. He is also a finalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Class of 2026. Since 2021, Witten has been the head coach at Liberty Christian School in Dallas, where his son, Cooper, is a top-ranked linebacker prospect.
