Tara Mounsey, a former defenseman for the U.S. women's national hockey team, is being inducted into the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame. Mounsey, a native of Concord, New Hampshire, played a pivotal role in the U.S. team's
gold medal victory at the 1998 Nagano Olympics, the first time the U.S. women's team won gold in ice hockey. Mounsey continued to excel in her career, helping the U.S. team secure a silver medal at the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympics. Her induction ceremony is scheduled for December 10 in St. Paul, Minnesota.
