ElevenLabs has significantly expanded its audiobook offerings by adding 200,000 new titles to its ElevenReader app. This expansion includes a mix of books from traditional publishers like Blackstone and HarperCollins, as well as ElevenLabs' own catalog
of self-published works. The new titles are available through a subscription service called ElevenReader Ultra, which costs $11 per month or $99 annually for 20 hours of listening. The app also offers a free tier for users. According to Madeline Shue, head of publisher partnerships at ElevenLabs, the new titles span 16 languages and include both read-aloud e-books and existing mp3 audiobooks. This move builds on ElevenLabs' recent partnership with Bookwire and includes a significant portion of bestsellers. Notably, HarperCollins is the only Big Five publisher currently participating, continuing a relationship with ElevenLabs that began in 2024.
