What's Happening?
Phil Johnson and Bob Leigh are planning to create a large mural in Stoke-on-Trent to celebrate the city's rich clubbing history. The proposed artwork will measure approximately 5m by 25m and feature a timeline
of the city's nightlife from the 1960s to the present day. Inspired by similar murals in Rochdale, the pair aim to highlight iconic venues such as The Place, Shelleys Lazerdome, and Club Kinetic. They are currently seeking a suitable location for the mural, with potential sites including The Potteries Centre and a large wall near a local Tesco.
