Valeo, a prominent automotive supplier, has commenced the construction of a new $225 million manufacturing facility in McAllen, Texas. This development is part of Valeo's 'Elevate 2028' strategy, aimed at expanding its U.S. footprint to support the transition
towards software-defined vehicles. The 337,000 square foot site is expected to begin production in late 2027 and will create up to 500 jobs over the next five years.
