Sabato De Sarno, a prominent figure in the fashion industry, is launching scholarships for students at the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) in Florence. Starting in fall 2026, these scholarships will be awarded to two students enrolled in the undergraduate fashion design course. The scholarships will cover 50 percent of the tuition fees for three years, contingent upon the students maintaining an average grade of 28 out of 30. De Sarno emphasizes the importance of nurturing talent and providing educational opportunities as a means to expand the future of the fashion industry. Candidates for the scholarship must submit a project that demonstrates their creative process in fashion design by March 20.

the critical role of education in fostering new talent within the fashion industry. By providing financial support to students, De Sarno is helping to remove barriers to education, allowing more individuals to pursue careers in fashion design. This move is significant as it not only supports individual students but also strengthens the fashion industry's supply chain by developing new creative energies. The scholarships represent a commitment to investing in the future of fashion, ensuring that the industry continues to evolve with fresh ideas and innovative designs.
