Telecom Namibia and Angola Telecom have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and a commercial terms agreement to enhance subsea cable connectivity along Southern Africa's west coast. This collaboration aims to provide Angola Telecom with access
to international capacity via Telecom Namibia's Equiano subsea cable landing in Swakopmund. The agreement also sets the stage for further cooperation on Angola Telecom's planned Southern Africa Regional Submarine Cable System (SARSSy), which will interconnect with Equiano to boost international capacity and infrastructure resilience in the region.
